Welcome to Yoga in Daily Life - Vancouver
We are a non-profit organization teaching classes according to the system "Yoga in Daily Life". We offer:
- Regular classes (level 1-8) including Asanas, Pranayama, relaxation, and meditation. (see the schedule)
- Classes in Chinese Language (both Mandarin and Cantonese)
- Spiritual Talks, bi-weekly (see the events page)
- Workshops, monthly
- Satsang, monthly meetings with video lecture, discussion and Bhajan singing, by donation (see the events page)
Summer Break
The Yoga Centre will be CLOSED for the Summer Break
from August 1st to September 7th, 2009.
Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8th
6 Week Introductory Course
Get a systematic, progressive, 6 week long introduction to Yoga in Daily Life, one class per week.
New session starting on September 14, 2009.
Price: $59 (incl. GST).Registration and payment required before the starting date.
BONUS:
Free entry to the Sunday Lectures during the six week period.
Back Pain Course (6 weeks)
Practice special exercises for back pain and learn how to prevent it in future (right standing, sitting, working position etc.)

Price: $59 (incl. GST).Registration and payment required before the starting date.

Add a Class (with a Course)
Intensify the practice and experience by adding one class per week to your course. Get a 6 class pass and use at your convenience.Price: $30 (incl. GST)
Valid for the duration of the course. No registraion required. Valid for General Class or another Intro or Back Pain course if there is space available.

H.H. Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda ("Swamiji") is one of the the world's most loved and respected spiritual masters. He has dedicated his whole life to help humanity through the ancient wisdom of Yoga. He was born in Rajasthan, India and became a Swami (monk) at the age of 17. In 1971, he came to Europe, and established his world centre in Vienna, Austria. Since then, Swamiji has been teaching Yoga in Daily Life to seekers all over the world.
